1984年3至10月,在美国威斯汀豪斯制动机公司和纽约制动机公司分别做了ABDW阀与GK阀的单阀试验、专列试验以及两种阀的多种混编试验。笔者根据试验数据,对两种阀的混编可行性进行了探讨。试难表明ABDW阀的性能位于GK阀。两种阀混编后,它们的作用基本一致。列车混装ABpW阀和GK阀后较原只装GK阀的列车制动作用有所改善,而且列车混装ABDW阀所占比例愈大愈好。同时,文章中也指出了混编后一些缺点。今后在ABDW阀的制造、修理和管理方面以及在机车操纵方面还会出现新问题,有待进一步探索解决。
From March to October 1984, the Westmont House and New York Brakes Company in the United States made the single-valve test, the special train test and the mixed test of two kinds of valves for ABDW valve and GK valve respectively. According to the author’s experimental data, the feasibility of mixing two kinds of valves were discussed. Troubles indicate that the ABDW valve’s performance is located on the GK valve. After mixing two kinds of valves, their role is basically the same. Train hybrid ABpW valve and GK valve than the original GK valve train only to improve the role of the train, and the train mix ABDW valve the greater the proportion of the better. At the same time, the article also pointed out some shortcomings after compilation. In the future, there will be new problems in the manufacture, repair and management of ABDW valves as well as locomotive operation, which needs to be further explored and solved.
