作为美国最出色的诗人之一,艾米莉·狄金森善于使用不规则的破折号,文学研究者对此已有不同的解读。针对这一诗歌特征,在文学教学中基于语料库的研究可明确其破折号的使用频率和位置,从而与破折号的传统用法进行比较,试探讨艾米莉·狄金森诗歌中破折号的五种常用目的,使学习者对这一诗歌特点有更全面的了解,这也是语料库应用于文学教学中的一种尝试。
Emily Dickinson, one of the best poets in the United States, is adept at using an irregular dash, which has been interpreted differently by literary researchers. According to this poetic feature, corpus-based research in literary teaching can make clear the frequency and location of its use of dash and compare it with the traditional usage of dash to explore five commonly used purposes of dash in Emily Dickinson’s poetry. Make learners have a more comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of this poem, which is also an attempt to apply corpus to literature teaching.
