Objective: To investigate the value of comfort nursing in improving perioperative psychological mood in patients with orthopedic surgery. Methods: 80 cases of orthopedic surgery were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing care, and the observation group was given comfort care. SAS and SDS scores before and after nursing care were compared between the two groups, and pain scores and nursing satisfaction were also observed on the 1st and 3rd postoperative day. Results: There was no significant difference in scores of anxiety and depression between the two groups before treatment. SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after nursing. The VAS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P <0.05) ; The observation group’s satisfaction with nursing service was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: Comfortable nursing can significantly improve the negative emotions of perioperative orthopedic patients, relieve the pain of surgery and improve patient satisfaction.
