对贵州红黏土的胀缩性与水敏性及相关性进行了室内试验研究.红黏土具有较高的胶粒含量与较大的比表面积,致使土中的水主要以可回复性的结合水存在,较一般的黏性土有更强的水敏性.膨胀试验结果的分析表明在相同的初始干密度下试样的持水能力接近,与初始含水率无关;基质吸力的存在有助于红黏土膨胀性的发挥,同时也降低土团粒的收缩效能;胀缩过程具有时效性,受水敏性影响的胀缩变形初期阶段发展迅速,之后随时间衰弱;荷载的施加削弱了红黏土的膨胀性能,中等荷载下表现出收缩现象.本研究表明红黏土的胀缩性是与其水敏性相关的,高含水率红黏土以收缩为特征,膨胀不明显,这是与工程实践相吻合的.
Indoor tests were carried out on the swelling and shrinkage and water sensitivity of red clay in Guizhou and its correlation.The red clay has a high content of colloidal particles and a large specific surface area, Which is more water-sensitive than the average cohesive soil.The analysis of the swelling test results show that the water holding capacity of the sample is close to that of the initial dry density, and has no relation with the initial moisture content.
