社会管理创新,指的是在现有社会管理条件下,运用现有的资源和经验,研究并运用新的社会管理理念、知识、技术、方法和机制等,对传统管理模式及相应的管理方式和方法进行改造、改进和改革,建构新的社会管理机制和制度,以实现社会管理新目标的活动或者这些活动的过程。社会管理创新的最终目标是有效化解社会矛盾,维护社会稳定,实现社会民主、公平、正义、和谐的社会主义法治国家。
