In the limestone of the Saraburi group in the Saraburi area in south-central Thailand, the verbeekinacean group of the Kungurian period and the Perrinites ammonite group are symbiotic in clastic limestone in the area. The coexistence of two ecologically distinct biomes has the meaning of “bridging” to the stratigraphic correlation between strata that contains only one type of fossil.
