由冶金物理化学学会发起第一次冶金界的青年科技工作者会议于1987年11月25～27日在北京召开。学会邀请了北京钢铁学院、中国科学院化工冶金研究所、北京钢铁研究总院、北京有色金属研究总院、中国科学院研究生校友会及唐山冶金公司等六个单位共同筹备和主办这次会议。冶金物理化学学会理事长、科学院学部委员、北京钢铁学院一级教授魏寿昆先生自始至终关心和指导大会的筹备工作。冶金工业出版社准备为大会出版优秀论文集。这次大会的宗旨是:更好地促进全国冶金界青年朋友们的横向联系,使大家有机会进一步了解目前国内外冶金理论及工艺的研究动态,通过学术交流,
The meeting of young scientists held by the Metallurgical Society of Physical Chemistry for the first time in metallurgical industry was held in Beijing from November 25 to November 1987. The Institute invited six units including Beijing Institute of Iron and Steel, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Chemical Metallurgy, Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute, Beijing Nonferrous Metal Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences Graduate Alumni Association and Tangshan Metallurgical Company to jointly organize and host the conference. Chairman of Metallurgical Physical Chemistry Society, member of the Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Iron and Steel Professor Wei Shoukun first class care and guidance throughout the preparations for the General Assembly. Metallurgical Industry Press is prepared to publish outstanding essays for the conference. The purpose of this conference is to better promote the horizontal contacts among the young metallurgists in the country and give them a chance to learn more about the current research on metallurgical theory and technology at home and abroad.
