Cochlear electrodes currently used are mostly inserted through the round window membrane in the middle ear into the scala tympani. This creates a potential pathway between the sterile middle ear and the sterile drums and is a concern for children prone to otitis media, and therefore attention should be given to implanting cochlear implants for congenital deafness. After the cat was implanted in the test drum, the cats were induced by artificial otitis media, the round window was closed to separate the cochlea from the middle ear, and the results were observed. Experimental use of 18 adult cats a total of 31 ears. The artificial device is implanted in the scala tympani and part of it is left in the middle ear. The first group of implants with a diameter of 1mm, length 7mm hard silica gel column (4 ears); the second group will round window niche
