宁甜单优１号是以自育遗传单粒型甜菜不育系“宁ｍ１０１Ａ”为母本，以多粒授粉系“宁９２Ｓ１”为父本，按父、母本１３配制成的单粒型雄不育杂交种。经１９９３～１９９５年区域试验，在病地、非病地分别比当地对照品种平均增产３６２．７３％和３３．０６％，含糖分别高２．６３度和０．４２度，产糖量高６３２％和４１．４５％。
