今年以来,我对湖南少数民族地区的“普九”工作进行了专门调查。调查发现,在省各级党委、政府的高度重视下,民族地区“普九”工作措施有力,成效显著,全省17个少数民族县已有16个通过了省政府的“普九”验收,令人欣慰。但是,也存在一些问题和困难,它们不同程度地影响了普九成果的巩固和发展,有的问题任其延续下去,还有可能成为影响社会安定的突出因素。要解决这些问题,必须从深层里找原因,在务实上下功夫。
Since the beginning of this year, I have conducted a special investigation into the work of “general ninth grade” in Hunan’s minority nationality areas. The survey found that under the great attention of the party committees and governments at all levels in the province, the work measures of “universal compulsory education in ethnic areas” in the ethnic areas are effective and have achieved remarkable results. 16 of the 17 ethnic minority counties in the province have passed the “universal compulsory education” acceptance of the provincial government, Thankfully. However, there are also some problems and difficulties that have affected the consolidation and development of the general public in varying degrees, some of which have continued their existence and may also become prominent factors that affect social stability. To solve these problems, we must find the reasons from a deep level and work hard in a down-to-earth manner.
