在以前的研究中,报道了一种新型致密ZrO_2-莫来石原料。与传统的ZrO_2-莫来石原料相比,这种新型ZrO_2-莫来石原料显示出更低的热膨胀系数。此外,该新型ZrO_2-莫来石原料尽管含有以莫来石状态存在的SiO_2,但是经还原气氛下热处理后,依然可以保持原始的致密显微结构。采用这种原料可以改善材料的抗剥落性和抗侵蚀性。在本研究中,含致密ZrO_2-莫来石原料的滑板实际应用于几种级别钢水的连铸过程。结果显示,滑板表现出优异的使用性能,滑动面损伤减少,铸孔边沿损毁减轻,钢水渗透减少,滑板磨损减少。
In the previous study, a new type of compact ZrO 2 -muramic material was reported. The new ZrO 2 -mu-mullite material shows a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the conventional ZrO 2 -mu-mullite material. In addition, the new ZrO_2-mullite material, despite containing SiO_2 in the mullite phase, retains its original dense microstructure after heat treatment in a reducing atmosphere. Using this raw material can improve the material’s resistance to spalling and erosion. In this study, skateboards containing dense ZrO_2-mullite materials were used in the continuous casting of several grades of molten steel. The results show that the skateboard exhibits excellent serviceability, less damage to the sliding surface, less damage to the edge of the hole, less penetration of molten steel, and less skateboard wear.
