科学是哲学进步的基础与源泉，也是哲学发展的内在动力。人类哲学思想的进步与解放，都是以科学为其开辟道路的。科学发展的程度，决定了哲学的方向、内容、形式与方法。哲学只有与科学紧密结合并深深植根于科学的基础之上，才能获得进步与发展，相反一旦离开科学的土壤，就会枯萎和停止发展。深入研究哲学进步与科学发展的内在联系，总结科学与哲学发展的规律，有助于正确认识现代科学对哲学的影响和哲学发展的方向与趋势。
Science is the foundation and source of philosophical progress and also the inner driving force of philosophical development. The progress and emancipation of the philosophy of mankind all open the way for science with it. The degree of scientific development determines the direction, content, form and method of philosophy. Only when philosophy is closely linked with science and deeply rooted in science can we gain progress and development. On the contrary, philosophy will wither and stop its development once it leaves the soil of science. Studying deeply the inner relationship between the progress of philosophy and the development of science and summarizing the laws of the development of science and philosophy help to correctly understand the influence of modern science on philosophy and the direction and trend of the development of philosophy.
