讨论了用低成本、改进的水平钻井和完井工艺对超浅油藏稠油进行稳定开采的方法 ,该方法还同时结合使用油藏区域测绘图和油藏特性。在密苏里西南和堪萨斯东南部的浅Pennsylvanian砂岩层内有稠油存在 ,仅密苏里一处原油储量就有大约 2 0〔10 8bbl ,非常可观。事实证明 ,浅层油藏内的稠油开采是困难的。目前现场应用最成功的开采方式是周期注蒸汽方法 (蒸汽与烟道气混合 )。若想经济地开发超浅稠油油藏 ,需要寻找一种成本低、易实施的开采方法。高压水射流钻井方法、微生物提高采收率采油与水平压裂相结合的方法均可满足上述要求。同时讨论了运用地球化学和地球物理学知识绘制浅层稠油油藏测绘图技术
