Background and Objective: Too little ovulation caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can be treated by ovulation induction drugs. It has been demonstrated that the increased risk of ovarian hypersensitivity in PCOS patients is associated with an increased number of selected follicles and, as a result, a mild stimulation regimen has been developed. In PCOS cases, the response of estradiol (E 2) to gonadotropin treatment was delayed, inconsistent with its response to follicles.
