湖南省宁乡县八一钢铁厂在推行管式热风炉的多嘴、低位、分段燃烧的先进经验以后,又多方设法改进热风炉,获得了良好的效果。经测定,风温经常维持在770~850℃之间,最高达到过875℃。从炉内废气温度及废气成份测定的结果得知:炉内废气温度相当均匀,沿纵剖面各测点,距离炉底1300毫米以上至拱顶下沿一带,废气温度波动在930—970℃之间;在1300毫米以下的各点,因受到燃烧嘴附近的空气孔进入的冷气流的影响,废气温度也有低于900℃的。废气烟道中的废气温度最高840℃,有时也低于700℃。从热风炉前后左右10个孔中取出的废气试样的分析结果看,除一个试样含有5%的一氧化碳和没有自由
