21世纪我国高校教育发展的方针政策的主流方向和出发点以及培养目标都与时代发展的方向和主观愿望是一致的,但在实施各个具体环节与落实的程度上因不够彻底出了偏差甚至越出了正常轨道,存在许多不容忽视的漏洞和脱离实际的主客观相背离的举措和实际问题。21世纪高校教育质量与20世纪80、90年代相比成整体下降趋势,其主要根源就在于盲目扩大招生规模,大幅降低入学要求,生源质量下降,相当一批不爱学习的人群也混进了大学生队伍,而学校的一切管理措施、教学设备、教学能力等各方条件又远远满足不了教学之需求,多种问题接踵而至,不正常现象普遍存在。诸于很多大学生的自甘堕落,对前途悲观失望,而又贪图精神与物质享受,厮守网吧,迷恋网络游戏,恋爱成风,上课玩手机、精神萎靡不振等丑陋现象处处可见,从而导致教育质量的普遍下降,毕业生素质相对较差,思想境界不高,知识功底不扎实,业务能力不强等,毕业生就业难,失业率增高就成了历史的必然,无疑这与高等教育培养目标严重背离,因此必然引发出许多新的社会问题和社会矛盾。试想上述种种现象和各种问题以及因之而引发的各种社会矛盾难道还不能足以让我们每个人去为之沉思和担忧吗?
