Objective: To investigate the changes of ocular hemodynamics in primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) and analyze the relationship between ocular blood flow and visual field, visual acuity, intraocular pressure and cup-to-pan ratio. Methods: The color Doppler imaging (CDI) technique was used to detect the posterior spherical intracranial flow in 30 patients (59 eyes) with POAG and 10 normal controls. The fundus fluorescein angiography FFA) test. Results: The velocity of blood flow in POAG group was significantly lower than that in POAG group (P <0.01). There was a correlation between blood flow velocity and visual function. POAG group showed FFA abnormalities: early optic disc weak fluorescence, relative, absolute optic disc partial filling defect, late optic disc strong fluorescence. Conclusion: The poor optic disc and retinal blood supply in patients with POAG is closely related to optic nerve damage and visual field defect. CDI technique standardization is proposed for the first time, and the comparability of test results is achieved.
