近年来,新课程改革特别强调教育应从过去的应试教育向素质教育转变,但历史教学并没有因为这种教育指导思想的提出而发生根本性的变化。就其原因,除了“高考考什么,教师教什么”这一现实原因以外,还有历史教师的专业化水平较低的原因。而这一因素的长期存在将极大的制约历史教学改革的深化,从而影响中学素质教育的切实推进。
