Childhood is the beginning of life, so childhood experience is of great importance, especially for writers. Because they can not only get creative inspiration from their childhood experiences, but also their personality and psychology will be affected to a great extent by their childhood experiences. For American writer Hemingway, childhood experience also plays an important role in his life, which is also an important promoter of his special ecological concept. Hemingway’s ecological outlook is contradictory. On the one hand, Hemingway loves nature and longs for return to nature. On the other hand, he is naturally in a state of embrace where he can not cherish nature, but often hunts for natural life. This paradoxical view of ecology is inextricably linked to his reading experience in his childhood and to his family, especially his father’s subtle influence on him.
