人类交际有两种形式:言语的和非言语的。非言语交际与言语交际一样是人们交流过程中必不可少的,人们几乎每天都在有意无意地使用非言语交际,教师也运用大量的体态语与学生进行交流。体态语作为非言语交际的重要手段之一,与言语交际一起实现人际交流。语言教学课堂中的体态语及其功能不可小视,它既是教师风格的一种体现,又很利于学生与老师的交流和促进师生间的关系。一位优秀的英语教师不仅应该有较高的语言专业水平,还应善于运用交际技巧激发学生学习的积极性。优秀教师在与学生交流时,体距、声音、音调、音速等都富有变化、面部表情丰富,保持眼神的交流。他们使用了大量的积极的、有助于教学的非言语交际行为。他们在教学评价中的成绩更好,也更受学生的欢迎。
There are two forms of human communication: verbal and nonverbal. Nonverbal communication is just as essential as people’s communication in the same way as verbal communication. People use nonverbal communication consciously or unconsciously on a daily basis. Teachers also use a great deal of body language to communicate with students. Body language as one of the important means of non-verbal communication, and verbal communication to achieve interpersonal communication. Body language and its functions in the language teaching classroom can not be underestimated. It is not only an embodiment of the teacher’s style, but also conducive to the exchange of students and teachers and promote the relationship between teachers and students. A good English teacher should not only have a higher level of language proficiency, but also should be good at using communicative skills to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning. Excellent teachers in the exchange with students, body distance, sound, pitch, sound speed and other rich changes, facial expressions, and maintain eye contact. They use a large number of positive non-verbal communication activities that help to teach. Their performance in teaching evaluation is better and more popular with students.
