文学书籍配插图、或改编为连环画,是中国悠久的文化传统,在国外也源远流长。鲁迅文学名著《阿Q正传》自二十世纪二十年代初问世以来,有关它的插图与连环画等美术作品在国内外屡见不鲜,种类与数量均较多。鲁迅生前,上海《戏》周刊等报刊上刊登过阿Q的画像;陈铁耕,刘岘等木刻家创作了《阿Q正传》木刻插图。对这些图画,鲁迅曾发表过自己的看法。鲁迅逝世以后,叶浅予、丰子恺、刘建庵、丁聪、郭士琦、程十发、顾炳鑫、范曾、赵延年、裘沙与王伟君等中国著名的画家,怀着对鲁迅的崇敬之情,根据各自对《阿Q正传》的感受与理解,以严谨的态度、不同的视角和独特的手法,
Literary books with illustrations, or adapted into comics, is a long tradition of culture in China, but also has a long history in foreign countries. Since the advent of Luxun’s famous literary work, “Ah Q,” since the early 20th century, its works of art, such as illustrations and comic strips, are commonplace both in China and abroad with a great variety and quantity. Before Lu Xun’s birth, the portraits of Ah Q were published in newspapers and periodicals such as Shanghai’s “Theatrical Weekly”. Woodcutters such as Chen Tiegeng and Liu Xian made the woodcut illustrations of “Ah Q”. Lu Xun once expressed his own opinion on these pictures.
