SSYST-3 is a modular program system for analyzing transient behavior of nuclear reactor fuel assemblies under accident conditions. It has two salient features: (1) A program is a single-stranded structure consisting of many modules that perform different functions; (2) When analyzing problems, use a simple physical model whenever possible. This program has all physical models for transient analysis of fuel element behavior at LOCA. SSYST-
