ＤＧ１０２５／１８．２－Ⅱ７型锅炉是东方锅炉厂应用从美国福斯特。惠勒公司（ＦＷ公司）引进技术生产的燃用无烟煤的“Ｗ”型火焰的３００ＭＷ自然循环锅炉。该炉和我国现有的电站锅炉在结构上有很大的不同。该类型锅炉使用了按ＦＷ公司技术制造的双旋风筒煤粉分离式燃烧器，装在锅炉的前后拱上，形成Ｗ型火焰，其二次风分５级分级送入炉膛。在水冷壁方面，不采用内螺纹管，而采用梯形管径。过热器和再热器上的显著特点是在其入口加装节流圈。在汽包内采用了卧式分离器。
