偶读一则新闻。我国《三字经》已被联合国教科文组织选入《儿童道德丛书》,颇有感触。《三字经》是我国南宋到清末家喻户晓的一本启蒙读物。三字一句,两句一韵,共1130字,极易上口。南宋末年,《三字经》就传至日本,清末,又传到俄国和欧洲,后来又传入北美。开始是作为一本中文和中国史的入门书在海外流传的,国外一些大学把它列为东方系汉语专业的初级读物。近来之所以备受海外教育界的推崇,是发现了它在伦理道德教育方面的意义。以新加坡为例,1989年7月,汾阳公会专门组织青年读《三字经》;1990年10月,教育出版社

China's “Three Character Classic” has been selected by UNESCO as “moral series of children,” quite touched. “Three Character Classic” is a well-known enlightenment book from the Southern Song Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty in our country. Three words, two rhyme, a total of 1130 words, very easy to catch. In the late Southern Song Dynasty, the Three Character Classic was transmitted to Japan. In the late Qing Dynasty, it was spread to Russia and Europe and later to North America. The beginning was circulated overseas as an introductory book on Chinese and Chinese history. Some foreign universities listed it as a primer for the Chinese major in the oriental department. The recent popularity of overseas education circles has revealed its significance in ethical and moral education. Take Singapore as an example.
