空箱旋转门水力自动启闭闸利用上、下游水位差作动力启闭闸门,1975年冬在东台县富安镇丁湾河上试验成功,1976年后,在我县推广应用。目前已建成45座,闸孔规格分四米、六米、八米三种。1984年做了水工模型试验,1986年根据模型试验成果,改建了南庄闸,并进行原型试验。1987年4月2日由江苏省水利厅、盐城市科学技术委员会联合进行了技术鉴定,获得省水利科学技术进步一等奖。实践证明,这种水闸具有双向水头启闭性能(经受过0.3~1 .9米水位差时的检验),运行可靠,开启迅速,管理方便、安全。平水时单人即可拉动启闭。在农田水利配套建设中,单孔水闸面广量大,采用空箱旋转门水力自动启闭闸,有利于推进单孔水闸的水力自动化管理。

Practice has proved that this sluice has a two-way head opening and closing performance (has been tested 0.3-1.9 m water level difference), reliable operation, quick opening, management convenient and safe. Flat water can pull the opening and closing when single. In the irrigation and water conservancy construction of farmland, the single-hole water gate has a large number of gates, and the hydraulic automatic opening and closing gates with the empty tank revolving door are conducive to the hydraulic automatic management of the single-hole gate.
