The study of the vertical distribution pattern of shallow sea water temperature and its forecasting method has become one of the urgent problems to be solved due to the needs of many sectors of the national economy. However, due to its complicated time-space changes and many influencing factors, the vertical heat conduction mechanism and the mixing process of various scales in the ocean are difficult to study. Therefore, effective methods are still rare. Since the 1970s, Soviet scholars and successfully exploited the theoretical non-dimensional model of ocean water temperature vertical distribution and the empirical dimensionless model in some oceanic regions with the help of the concept of dimensionless η, Θ and vertical distribution of water temperature.
