Jane Austin is a realist novelist in England from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. She is also an outstanding representative of British women writers in that period. Her works reflect the contemporary British comedy of life and the possibility of “family literature.” This article explores Jane Austen’s unique insights into love and her outstanding contributions to the development of world literature through the analysis of plot structure and artistic features of Pride and Prejudice.
