当代中国高校标志设计经历了一个多世纪的发展,逐渐形成了较为固定的结构形式。面对经济、文化全球一体化的今天,作为一个国家、地区的科研、文化中心,代表高校形象的标志在信息、传媒高度发达的社会显得尤其重要,研究当代高校标志设计艺术,特别是研究标志艺术的核心内容——空间存在形式之结构,对高校标志艺术乃至非商业领域的文化团体,行业协会,一定的政府职能部门的标志艺术的发展都有其重要意义。
