Buying property abroad seems to be becoming a dream for some affluent middle class, making money in China and spending and investing abroad are their distinguishing features. Chinese purchases of global real estate appear to be a landscape in the context of the current global economy and optimism. Many of their brokers are actively preparing for the Golden Week in China, and they expect to increase their incomes with the power purchased in China. According to the U.S. media, “rich” people in China are buying houses around the world. The United States is the top priority country for them. They are located in Queens, in Orange, California and New York. China Merchants data show that these Chinese buyers have a total of 13.1 trillion US dollars (about 80 trillion yuan) of investment assets. China Merchants Bank said about 655 billion U.S. dollars was invested in the overseas real estate market. Habitat Network said about 60 million Chinese middle class are seeking overseas real estate. Their website surged 66% in search of real estate in the two weeks prior to the Golden Week.
