宁绍地区是江南社会的有机组成部分。自明中叶以降，该地区的独特区域个性格外引人瞩目。文章从分析人地关系这一最具基本意义的经济情况入手，揭示了历史时期宁绍地区人地关系所经历的三个周期变化的客观轨迹。每一周期的紧张动因、存在实态、调适手段及其消解结果，既层层递进，贯为一体，又各具特色，耐人寻味。正是在人地关系多次历史性变动的前提下，新旧结构的鼎替才会突飞猛进，区域个性才得以生成与凸现。
Ningshao area is an organic part of Jiangnan society. Since the middle of the Ming Dynasty, the distinctive regional personalities of the region have drawn special attention. Starting from the analysis of the most basic economic situation, the article reveals the objective trajectory of the three cycles that people-land relations experienced in Ningxia during historical periods. Each cycle of intense motivation, there are realities, means of adjustment and the results of its resolution, both layers of progressive, consistent as one, but also have their own characteristics, thought-provoking. It is precisely on the premise that many historic changes have taken place in the relations between man and land, that the replacement of old and new structures will only make rapid progress and regional personality will be able to emerge and be highlighted.
