Use a cloth to lie on. First you should learn how to do the half push-up. Let your knees drop to the ground and keep your feet in the air. Then support(支撑) your body and hands with your arms. Then slowly make the body low until it is a few inches from the ground, then push up so your arms are straight. Do five times and have a rest. Then do ten times. Please remember to have two days’ rest before doing push-ups again. When you can, try a full push-up with your knees off the ground and feet and hands supporting your body. This morning I was thinking back to a year ago and what I was doing. I realized that I was having blood transfusions(输血) every two weeks just a year ago. I was dying and the blood was the only thing keeping me alive. I was a little broken hearted. Now I have forgotten the heart break. Fear means nothing to me anymore. I only know how to live, which leaves little room for fear.
This last year seems like a lifetime, I have come to know and understand so much more than I did before. I have made many changes in my life and now I try to live in harmony(和谐) with the rest of the world as much as I can. Many of you may be remembering how I used to take everything, my clothes, my house, and even my time. But now I love my new life and I had to make changes in order to have my health.
We only have one life and it’s a short one. I can’t tell you how wonderful life is. I have a second chance to live my dream and I am so thankful. I often wish I had a magic wand (魔杖 ) and I would use it to allow everyone to work to their own dream for a week. I think after that most people would start living their own dreams.
