目的 研究衰老时神经肽Y(NPY)阳性神经元在大鼠大脑皮质枕叶中的变化情况。方法 选用青年组(1~2个月)、中年组(11~12个月)和老年组(22~24个月)三组Wistar大鼠,采用免疫组化SABC法结合计算机图像分析技术进行研究。结果 NPY阳性细胞属于非锥体形神经元,在枕叶皮质Ⅱ—Ⅵ层均有分布;比较三个年龄组阳性细胞的数量和平均截面积的变化,发现老年组与青年组及中年组相比,两项指标都显著减小(P<0.01),而青年组和中年组相比,两项指标都没有显著性变化(P>0.05)。结论 NPY作为神经调节物,可能与大脑皮质枕叶功能的调节有关;随着衰老其阳性神经元的变化可能影响NPY发挥正常的生理功能。
Objective To study the changes of neuropeptide Y (NPY) positive neurons in rat cerebral cortex during senescence. Methods Three groups of Wistar rats were selected from the young group (1-2 months), the middle-aged group (11-12 months) and the elderly group (22-24 months). The immunohistochemical SABC method combined with computer image analysis the study. Results The NPY positive cells belonged to non-pyramidal neurons and were distributed in the occipital cortex Ⅱ-Ⅵ. The number of positive cells and the average cross-sectional area of the three age groups were compared. It was found that in the aged group and the young group and in the middle-aged group Compared with the middle-aged group, the two indicators had no significant change (P> 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: NPY, as a neuromodulator, may be involved in the regulation of occipital lobe function in the cerebral cortex. The changes of neurons with aging may affect the normal physiological function of NPY.
