Objective To analyze the surveillance results of influenza in 2010 in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and to understand the epidemiological trend of influenza and the characteristics of pathogenic changes, so as to provide scientific guidance for the prevention and control of influenza in the future. Methods Sentinel Hospital monitored influenza-like illness (ILI) and collected ILI throat swab specimens as required to be sent to the Influenza Surveillance Network Laboratory. Real-time RT-PCR was performed within 24 hours by the Influenza Surveillance Network Laboratory Detection, and complete the identification of influenza virus isolation. Results In 2010, 91 661 cases of emergency visits and 853 cases of ILI were monitored in the flu surveillance sentinel hospitals in Kaifeng City. Cases of 25-year-old age group (35.99%), 60-year-old group with the least. The first week (January 4-10) to the 18th week (May 3-9), 25-year-old and 15-year-old age group accounted for a large proportion, but since the 43th week (October 25-31 Day) to 0 years old ~ age group based. A total of 571 ILI throat swabs were collected during the year. After laboratory tests, 18 cases (3%) of the new H1N1 influenza virus, 57 cases (10%) of A undifferentiated, 9 cases of type B (2% ), Season H1 and season H3 were not detected, year-round influenza-free and outbreaks of influenza A (H1N1) outbreaks. Conclusion The incidence of influenza is seasonal. The number of ILI peaked in the third week of 2010, then decreased significantly. ILI was mainly composed of 25 years old and the age group. Influenza virus was classified as the predominant epidemic strain.
