铜鼓曾广泛流行于我国南方和东南亚一带,被当地民众当作财富和权力的象征,具有神器、祭器、礼器、乐器等多重功能。以往学者对铜鼓的研究,多从考古学、民俗学、历史文化学等角度切入,探讨其历史源流、价值功能、形制结构、纹饰图案和铸造工艺等,很少触及到铜鼓音乐。本文则从民族音乐学的角度切入,着重探析历史悠久、形式独特、音响奇妙、内涵丰富的广西铜鼓音乐文化的现时存见,为继承、弘扬这一音乐文化的优秀传统提供鲜活的实例。
Bronze drums have been widely prevalent in southern China and Southeast Asia, as the local people as a symbol of wealth and power, with artifacts, sacrificial vessels, ceremonial instruments, musical instruments and other multiple functions. In the past, scholars mostly studied the bronze drums from the aspects of archeology, folklore, history and culture, and discussed the history, value function, shape structure, decorative patterns and foundry techniques. Based on the ethnomusicology, this essay focuses on the existing existing of Tonggu musical culture in Guangxi with long history, unique form, wonderful sound and rich connotation, and provides vivid examples for inheriting and carrying forward the excellent tradition of music and culture.
