Objective Cochlear Implant (Cochlear Implant) improves speech recognition in both post-hearing-impaired patients with bilateral severe and very severe sensorineural deafness and younger patients with prelingual deafness. However, Whether or not cochlear implant surgery benefits patients remains controversial. This article studies the benefits of cochlear implants in prelingual deaf children. Methods To investigate the effect and satisfaction of prelingual deafness adolescents using questionnaire of prelingual deafness adolescents with communicative ability and quality of life improvement, and to analyze the benefit and satisfaction of postoperative cochlear implant patients and related effects factor. Results The survey results showed that all parents were very satisfied with the sound of children’s cochlear implants and believed that cochlear implants would help to improve the overall communicative competence. Both the patients themselves and their parents would like to choose CI. Conclusion CI implants in adolescent prelingual deaf children should not be regarded as the only criterion for assessing the benefit of cochlear implants, but should also consider the help effects of cochlear implants in improving comprehensive communicative competence and quality of life.
