本研究的目的是回顾过去18年来与外派人员培训有关的跨文化研究,考察跨文化训练研究的需求、过去研究的不足、研究目标以及典型的培训内容和培训的执行等。考虑得知,大部分跨文化培训的研究是基于西方语境的,本文详述了中国经理人对跨文化培训和中国文化特色的见解,为中国社会环境下的培训内容应用提供了合理的解释。以亚洲国家对于跨文化培训的需求的讨论为基础,本文进一步探讨了中国经理人的学习和培训特色,包括他们对于管理培训的整体观念以及对特定培训方法的看法。中国文化死记硬背、服从、较高的权力距离和不确定性回避、集体主义和大众教育等特色都在本文讨论范围之列。
The purpose of this study is to review the intercultural research related to the training of expatriates in the past 18 years, examine the needs of intercultural training research, deficiencies in past studies, research objectives and the implementation of typical training contents and training. Consider that the study of most cross-cultural training is based on Western contexts. This article details Chinese managers’ opinions on cross-cultural training and Chinese cultural characteristics and provides a reasonable explanation for the application of training content in Chinese social environment . Based on the discussion of Asian countries’ needs for cross-cultural training, this article further explores the learning and training features of Chinese managers, including their overall perception of management training and their views on specific training methods. The rote memorization, obedience, higher power distance and uncertainty avoidance of Chinese culture, collectivism and mass education are the features discussed in this article.
