中国历史上,出家为僧而在书法上卓有成就者,智永、怀素、八大山人皆蔚为大家,但与弘一的书法依然判然有别。前三者书法仍然是人间书法,充满喜怒哀乐的生命气息;弘体书风则是出世间的,行内的说法是没有烟火气。对弘一大师临终绝笔“悲欣交集”内容意蕴及书法评价聚讼纷纭、见仁见智。笔者认为就内容而言,明诚居士在《悲欣交集见观经——弘一法师命终绝笔新解》一文中的见解最为深刻到位:“大师以此绝笔直陈生命最后的见道境界、殊胜瑞相,以此为后来者破疑
