1-苯基-3-甲基-4-苯甲酰吡唑酮-5(PMBP,简作HA)对金属离子的萃取能力比TTA更大,并且易于合成及纯化,价格也较低廉,因此已广泛用于分析分离工作中,并有专著及总结性文章予以系统介绍。PMBP对稀土的萃取工作也有较多的报导,对于La(Ⅲ)的萃取研究,常用分配法进行,通常是固定[HA]_(0)浓度,改变水相pH值,由lgD~pH关系图中得出直线斜率为3,从而确定萃合物为LaA_3。文献[5]则根据PMBP萃取Dy~(3+)试验,推断出萃合物是LaA_3,都没有考虑形成LaA_3·nHA的可能
