To a certain extent, the writer Shi Tie-sheng changed the direction of Chinese prose so that it began to bid farewell to the grand perspective of “red, light and light” and began to advance to the depths of human nature. The ideal of “human literature” put forward by Zhou Zuoren in 1918 was realized and deepened in the 20 years to the end of the 20th century after being vacant most of the 20th century. Among these struggling generations, there is the appearance of Shi Tiesheng. He has injected new meaning into “human literature” and especially “humanism”, that is, the concern for the human soul and the continuous pursuit and exploration of the value of life.
