以韻語形式論詞,元明之季已肇其端,降至有清一代,則蔚爲大觀,至如厲鶚、谭塋之《論詞絶句》,近人劉咸炘之《詞學肄言》,可謂其間上佳之作。然與一般所謂‘詞話’不同,韻語之體制極其有限,勢不得不以非韻文作注,以爲補充説明。若是必須説明,則何妨徑直以正文出之?夫此類著作既已難爲,何況‘精煉有餘而詳明不足’,~([一])因此雖有數千首之夥,向遭學界忽視。直至近年來王偉勇編《清代論詞絶句,初編》(臺北里仁書局二○○九年版),孫克强、裴喆編《論詞絶句二千首》(南開大學出版社二○一四年版),程郁
