This article reports changes in the sympathetic-adrenal system function of seafarers exposed to both noise, vibration and heat at the same time. The authors surveyed 35 male seafarers, aged 25-40 years old, with sailing length of 4 to 5 years. The experimental group consisted of 25 turbine hands exposed to noise, vibration and heat at the same time. The noise level at working point exceeded the hygiene standard 8-12dB (A); the temperature exceeded 5 ± 1 ℃; and the vibration parameters also surpassed the standard. In the control group, 10 sailors working on the deck had noise, vibration and temperature at their work sites in compliance with the hygiene standards.
