利用顶部籽晶法生长了尺寸为 44 mm × 24 mm × 10 mm,重 24.7 g的 Bi B3O6单晶.对籽晶制备、单晶生长以及遇到的问题进行了详细的报道.利用四圆衍射仪测定了晶体结构:a=7.1203(7)A,b=4.9948(7)A, c= 6.5077(7)A, β= 105.586(8)°, V= 222.93(5)A3.利用分光光度计测试了 190~3200 nm的透光波段,透过率为80%左右.Bi B3O6是双轴晶体,利用偏光显微镜和X射线衍射仪,进行了晶体折射率主轴的定向工作,结果是: b∥X,(a, Z)= 31.6°,(c, Y)= 47.2°.利用 l.06μm光源获得了高达 67.7%的倍频转换效率,也得到了(1.06+0.532)μm→ 0 .355μm的三倍频效应.BiB3O6晶体不潮解.
Bi B3O6 single crystal with a size of 44 mm × 24 mm × 10 mm and a weight of 24.7 g was grown by top-seed method. Seed preparation, single crystal growth and the problems encountered were reported in detail. The crystal structure was determined by four-circle diffractometer: a = 7.1203 (7) A, b = 4.9948 (7) A, c = 6.5077 (7) A, V = 222.93 (5) A3. The transmission band of 190 ~ 3200 nm was measured by spectrophotometer and the transmittance was about 80%. Bi B3O6 is a biaxial crystal. The orientation operation of the crystal refractive index main axis was performed using a polarization microscope and an X-ray diffractometer. As a result, b∥X, (a, Z) = 31.6 °, (c, Y) = 47.2 °. Use l. The frequency conversion efficiencies of up to 67.7% were obtained for the 06 μm light source and also obtained (1.06 + 0.532) μm → 0. 355μm triple frequency effect. BiB3O6 crystals do not deliquesce.
