油气藏上方地表自然电位幅值与地下烃类丰度之间存在正相关定量关系,已被国内30多个油田与地区的自然电位法烃类检测工业试验结果证实。油气藏的烃类总量由不同级别的含油气层总体所决定,为了统一表征不同级别的含油气层总体,按单储系数将各级别含油层转换成视有效厚度,发现自然电位幅值与视有效厚度有明显的正相关关系。在松辽盆地某油田扩边区用这种方法预测含油层分布,与钻探结果一致性较好。可以利用这种相关性预测油田老开发区的外扩潜力。图3表2参6
