1982年8月16日至20日期间,我们参加了第十一届国际沉积学大会组织的会前地质旅行。在加拿大落基山地区的侏罗系和白垩系地层剖面中,领队沃克教授(Roger G.Walker)带领我们看了许多由暴风浪形成的丘状交错层理(Hummocky Cross Stratification,简称 HCS)和洼状交错层理(Swaley Cross Stratification,简称 SCS),层序上位于下伏的浊流沉积与上覆的滨浅海沉积和河流沉积之间,代表暴风浪底(Storm wave base)和晴天浪底(Fairweat-her wave base,亦称正常浪底)之间海底的沉积物所特有的层理类型,具有很好的指相意义。鉴于国内过去对此报道较少,故予以介绍,以引起注意。一、丘状交错层理丘状交错层理一词是哈姆斯等于1975年正式提出的(J.C.Harms et al.,1975)。在这以
From August 16 to August 20, 1982, we participated in the pre-conference geology tour organized by the 11th International Congress of Sedimentology. In the Jurassic and Cretaceous stratigraphic sections of the Rocky Mountain, Canada, leader Roger G.
