20世纪初出身于大家闺秀的谢冰莹,因抗婚走上革命道路。1926年参加北伐,被誉为“中国第一女兵”;1937年再次穿上戎装,奔赴抗日战场,随军转战大江南北,看护伤病员,筹集抗战物资。以病弱身躯奋斗在抗战的烽火中,实可谓现代的花木兰。在抗战途中,她坚持写报道,记日记,将战区所写集为《新从军日记》,是一本优秀的报告文学。在纪念抗日战争胜利65周年之际,怀念这位中华奇女子,对当代青年不无启发。
