2007年11月29日,中国散文学会在西北大学现代学院举行了西安创作基地挂牌仪式。在仪式上,由我代表学会进行发言。按以往的惯例,这样的会议,领导发言一般都说些祝贺外加一些政治色彩的规定话语。那样的东西,我过去没少讲过,也给一些领导写过。我总觉得没多大意思。咱不是行政领导,说一些不着边际的话让人讨厌。带着这样的一种想法,我在走上主席台的瞬间,改变了讲话稿的原意,我说出了我想说的话。 On November 29, 2007, the Chinese Society of Essays held a ceremony to list the Xi’an Creative Base at the Modern College of Northwest University. At the ceremony, on behalf of the Institute, I will make a speech. In accordance with past practice, such a meeting, the leaders are generally speaking to speak congratulations plus some political discourse of discourse. That kind of thing, I have not spoken in the past, but also wrote to some leaders. I always feel that much meaning. We are not executive leaders. It is annoying to say some implausible words. With such an idea, the moment I took to the podium, I changed the original meaning of the speech, and I said what I wanted to say.
