Even Chinese students do not have systematic listening training,they perform better in English test than we expected af-ter they entering in university.However,when they engage in real life conversation,they still encounter some listening problems.This paper is going to investigate the listening skills taught in Chinese university and to search for a more effective way to improvelistening competence.
