如果说古典戏曲是中国古代文化的一朵奇葩,那么古代曲论显然是这朵奇葩上骄人的花蕊。它经过古人在戏曲创作与实践的辛勤浇灌下生长而成,是具有民族特色的文化成果。长期以来,戏曲学者们对古代曲论颇为重视,不遗余力地对其进行汇辑、整理与研究,取得了一定的成就。然而,相较于古代曲论本身的丰富性,这些研究似乎还不够充分。以作为古代曲论核心组成部分的戏曲创作理论为例,人们对这方面的研究就还只是停留在对重要理论大家的经典阅读上,理论素材也大多局限于理论专著、评点等理论形态,全面的系统的研究没有展开,这不免让人遗憾,也让人期待!笔者近日奉读湖南科技大学刘奇玉教授的新著《古代戏曲创作理论与批评》(北京:中国社会科学出版社,2010年6月),受益匪浅,认为该书显然是这一研究领域让人欣喜的新成果。这本著作在前人研究的基础上,以创作主体和创作方法作为切入点,广泛网罗各种曲论资料,从主体论、动机论、题材论、语言论、人物论、结构论六个部分,对中国古代戏曲创作理论作了细致、翔实的梳理与研究,将我国戏曲理论研究更深入地推进了一步。

I recently read the new book entitled “Theory and Criticism of Ancient Opera Creation” (Beijing: China Social Sciences Press, 2010 6 Month) benefited a lot from the book, apparently the book is clearly a delightful new achievement in this area of research. On the basis of previous studies, this book takes the creation subject and creation method as starting points and extensively collects a variety of music materials, from six aspects of subject theory, motivation theory, theme theory, linguistic theory, character theory and structure theory , Made a detailed and detailed analysis of the theory of Chinese ancient drama creation, and further advanced the study of the theory of Chinese opera theory one step further.
