台湾糖业公司糖业研究所在专致糖业研究的同时,为适应国际糖价和岛内工业发展迅速的形势,于1988年4月设立园艺系,致力于花卉苗木繁殖、栽培技术等研究。日前,针对越来越多的城市人对绿化居住环境、食用清洁蔬菜,增加业余生活乐趣等需求,研究能够在庭院、阳台种植植物的栽培箱。经过一年多的研制,终于成功地为社会提供了一套完整的蔬菜花卉简易栽培箱。
