The controversy between liberalism and the new left, which originated in the mid-1990s, has gradually come to a standstill after several occasions of bustling performances by you. This is certainly related to the further ideological differentiation caused by the political and economic situation in China and the changes in academic resources since then. However, we must also admit that there were problems with the ideological dispute between the two parties at that time, resulting in some important issues that were not fully developed. For example, arguing that the two sides are over-focused on the issue of struggle rather than the issue of dispute, even discussing specific issues also reveals a tendency to re-think the academic abatement. In addition, the positions of both parties are also often treated as derogatory.
